Welcome back guys, hope you have being enjoying our articles so far. Today I’ll be talking about 10 very important tips for building self-confidence. First for everybody that wants to build confidence, the first very important factor is:
#1. THE WAY YOU SEE YOURSELF
The First very important thing that affects one’s self-confidence is the way you actually see yourself. Change the way you see yourself, and your reacting towards everyone else would change.
#2. RECOGNIZE YOUR INSECURITIES
What does the voice at the back of your head tell you? What makes you less confident, uncomfortable or ashamed? This really could be anything, an incidence, friends at school or maybe probably a past traumatic or negative experience. Get whatever makes you feel inferior out of your mind and begin to think positively. Think awesomeness. Do and think of what you know a catch would. Inject the charisma of the catch into your daily activities.
#3. APPEAR WITH CONFIDENCE
Dress Attractively. We all know the saying “Dress the way you’ll like to be addressed” Dressing attractively with confidence gives a good impression of how you see yourself. When you look good, it changes the way you see yourself and interact with people. Find your style and your way of dressing. Take good care of your personal appearance for example; bathing, shaving, cologne etc.
#4. IMPROVE THE WAY YOU WALK
Funny enough, you also gain self-confidence by the way you walk. The way you walk views your mood, let me explain. The way you’ll walk when you are tired is different from the way you’ll walk when you are ashamed or tired. You see! So by improving the way you walk and walking more confidently, you get a sense of superiority.
#5. COMPLIMENT OTHERS
Break the cycle of negativity by getting in the habits of complimenting others. In this process you will be liked by other people and gain more confidence for even yourself. By looking for the best in others, you bring out the best in yourself.
#6. SPEAKING UP
Many people never speak up because they are afraid people will judge them and say something negative about them. The truth is that these are challenges everybody faces. By speaking up at least once in every group discussion confidently, you build self-confidence.
#7. PLEASE YOURSELF
Instead of constantly pleasing others, please yourself more often. It is great to take other people into consideration quite alright but you should always think before sacrificing your own need to please them. Bending backwards for strangers, people you don’t trust or acquaintances may leave you with the short end of the stick. Lol! What I meant was don’t allow yourself to be used.
#8. CLEAR ALL NEGATIVE SELF-ESTEEM
Try as much as possible to ignore any or all destructive critics or insults, including ones from past life experiences. The way you see yourself is the way others would see you. For some of us who have been hurt, it is important not to internalize the abuse and let them continue to hurt us. If we let go of the past, ignore hurtful negativity and make ourselves happy, then the way we view ourselves would change.
#9. KEEP LEARNING
It is said that practice makes perfection. Practice this tips daily, it is popularly said that Rome was not built in a day but well, they lay bricks every day. Total Self- confidence might not be achievable in a day but constant practice without holding back or giving up definitely will!
